Le Bicolore - Maison du Danemark presents “Liminal Objects” by Ane Lynge-Jorlén, who has curated several exhibitions on contemporary fashion in Scandinavia.

This exhibition in the Danish cultural centre dedicated to contemporary art and design presents a new generation of eight Nordic designers and artists. They explore and question the way in which materials, functions, bodies and identities are perceived in fashion and art.

The notion of liminality refers to a transitional phase, at the edge of two worlds where opposites coexist.

The exhibition presents objects whose ambiguity allows new ideas, practices and identities to emerge between fashion and art. The guest artists and designers experiment with forms and narratives, redefining the boundaries between disciplines. Through recycling, upcycling and artisanal production, they are repositioning the status of fashion.
